Hey, I'm Siquoia. Brand designer, photographer, and strategist currently based in Niagara, Canada. I'm a perfectionist, a multi-tasker, and someone who pours her whole heart into absolutely everything she does. I notice the little things others miss. I see the bigger picture before most people know it exists. And I genuinely care about every single person I work with — not just during a project, but long after.
I'm the friend who'll tell you what you actually need to hear. The collaborator who shows up fully, every time. The person who gets excited about your brand almost as much as you do (sometimes more).
MY STORY
I grew up in Geraldton, a small coastal town in Western Australia, where I stumbled into graphic design in high school without really knowing what it was. I didn't think much of it at the time. I definitely didn't think it would become my life's work.
After school I moved to Perth, studied a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Advertising, and picked up a minor in photography almost by accident… needing extra credits and not thinking much of it. My late grandfather gifted me my first DSLR camera around that time, and something clicked. Suddenly I could see how design and photography worked together in a way most people couldn't — because I understood both.
I started Sikoya Design without a plan. I said yes to everything like logos for plumbers, wedding photography, government reports, construction companies… I was doing work for anyone and everyone and while I was learning, I was also slowly losing the thread of who I actually was and what I was really here to do.
It took me over a decade, a lot of hard lessons, and more moments of wanting to walk away than I'd like to admit to finally get clear. Clear on my direction. Clear on my clients. Clear on what I stand for and the kind of work that genuinely lights me up.
That clarity changed everything. And it's exactly what I want to help you find faster.
IN BETWEEN ALL OF THAT, LIFE HAPPENED IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WAY
I met my husband during my travels through the US and Canada and spent seven years in a long distance relationship before finally making the move to be with him. Last year we got married. Twice. Once in Australia, once in Canada. I do not recommend two weddings, but I'd do it all again.
I moved to the Niagara region in mid 2025 and honestly, adjusting to a whole new country, culture, and chapter of life while running a business has been one of the biggest growth experiences of my life. I've evolved more in the past year than I have in the decade before it. And I think that's exactly what happens when you finally stop playing it safe and commit fully to the life (and the business) you actually want.
